How The Ink Level Resets
These cartridges have an 80ml capacity so when the printer printer indicates that a cartridge needs to be replaced, the chances are that you will have plenty of ink the cartridge – and you can see this ink level!
When the printer does flag an empty cartridge, simply remove the lid overide piece, and then re-insert. This action simulates the cartridge lid being opened and then closed. The ink level will then revert to 100% full and your print will continue without having to remove the cartridge.
Use Alongside OEM Ink Cartridges
With the same dimensions and volume as the OEM cartridges, the refillable cartridges filled with the Marrutt bulk ink can be installed one at a time alongside the OEM cartridges with minimal change to colour output.
For users with colour profiling equipment and the more critical photographer, the Marrutt refil cartridges can be installed alongside OEM cartridges with short-term profiles created as each cartridge is introduced to maintain optimum print quality.
